Maintaining Your Investment
Expert installation is the first important step in creating a great landscape and lighting system. However, maintaining your lighting system investment is just as important.
The low-voltage lamps we install typically have an average life of about 4,000 hours - which is equivalent to running your system 6 hours a night for 2 years. However there is no written guarantee from the manufacturer. So, to make sure all of your lights are working properly, we recommend a 100% bulb replacement every 24 - 30 months.
Likewise, just as your home, your plants and your irrigation system require maintenance, so too does your landscape lighting system. As your landscape grows and matures, or if you make changes to your landscape, adjustments to your landscape lighting system may also be required.
We offer semi-annual and annual maintenance contracts for your lighting systems to handle these issues on a regular, periodic basis. In addition, other routine maintenance services can include:
- Pruning back encroaching plant material
- Cleaning lamp fixture lenses, and
- Lubricating lamp fixture sockets and connections.
